Whatever the case, here’s how to get rid of apps on your Chromebook so you can get back to work or play.

Delete Apps From Chromebook To Save Storage Space

Chromebooks are designed to be fast, efficient, and easy to use. One of the best ways to keep your Chromebook that way is to remove applications that you don’t use and free up storage space in the process. The apps will still be available if you choose to download them again, so you’re not deleting them forever. Just removing them temporarily until you need them again. We’ll take you through the steps of how to delete apps on a chromebook so you can make room and declutter your menu options at the same time.

Open The Chrome Menu

The problem is how to delete apps on chromebook without right-click, You can delete apps on your Chromebook by right clicking on the app you want to delete, then clicking Remove from Chrome. You can also go to the Chrome menu at the top of the screen, scroll down to find the app you want to remove, and click Remove. Just click on three dots in a row next to the app name in question. This will bring up a list of options for that app including Remove.

Removing apps from your Chromebook is as easy as accessing the Chrome Web Store and clicking the remove button. Just type in the app name into the search bar, scroll down until you find it, click remove, and confirm by clicking yes.   • Select the app you want to remove.
  • Click Remove next to its name

Reinstalling an App on Your Chromebook

If you want to delete an app from your Chromebook, but you can’t seem to find the app in Settings or you don’t have a right-click mouse, there are a few ways that you can delete apps. First, open the Chrome browser and enter chrome://apps in the URL bar. Once this page loads, select Manage next to the name of the app that you would like to delete and then click Uninstall. If your Chromebook is running Linux applications and you want to remove an application, first download and install ARChon. After installing ARChon, open it up and press Ctrl + O followed by Ctrl + F4.

How to delete apps on chromebook from Your Cloud Storage

To delete an app from your cloud storage, follow these steps: 

  • Press ALT+CTRL+P and then select the More Tools button. 
  • Select the Remove Device Data option, and then click on the App Manager tab in the pop-up window. 
  • From here, you can delete apps by clicking on them individually or clicking the trash can icon at the top of the screen to delete all of them at once.

  • Click the Launcher button at the bottom of the screen. 
  • Click on Apps. 
  • Find the app you want to delete and click on it to open its options menu, then select Remove from Chrome OS from the list of actions available for that app.

To remove an app, simply right-click or press and hold it until a small pop-up menu appears. The first option will be Remove (or Delete) which will permanently remove the app from your computer. If you don’t want to remove the app but just want it out of sight, for now, select Hide App instead.
